Goody's
utilized the nTarget
system to send monthly coupons to customers by email -- keeping them updated on
special values, sales and latest styles!
A custom email marketing solution was implemented in order to track off
line behavior related to their online program. Individually bar-coded coupons
were generated by nTarget and tracked after redemption back to the
contact in the nTarget system. The reporting feature provided Goody's
the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of each type of program by examining
average basket size, average discount, payment type and department code of each
purchase. They found that coupon customers spent 50% more than customers not
using coupons.
